MorningStar Editing’s mission is to assist you in every phase of writing, from helping your ideas take shape to masterfully editing and/or proofreading your manuscripts.
MorningStar Editing copyedits and proofreads fiction, nonfiction, business, and technical manuscripts, texts for legal professionals, copy for the Web, and ESL (English as a second language) projects.
MorningStar Editing grew out of copyeditor Cassie Armstrong's passion for working with language and words. She is happy to assist writers who may not love the writing process as much as she does but who need to make their messages clear and inviting to readers.

MorningStar Editing began operation in 2007, but Cassie officially began her proofreading and copyediting career in 2006. Previously, Cassie practiced proofreading and copyediting while teaching English composition at both the community college and university level, and also as a staff reporter for a weekly business newspaper. MorningStar Editing is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
